SHARC is a Friendship of Amateur Radio operators, geographically centered in northeastern Pennsylvania, USA, who are active in the hobby of amateur radio at the local, national and international levels.

Shack Hoppers hop to amateur operator’s radio shacks as often as time and outside responsibilities allow.  Sometimes the hop has a purpose, like an antenna installation, sometimes not. Hops always have good food and drink, and good amateur radio conversation.

Shack Hoppers engage in personal contact and support of Amateur Radio Operators and Amateur Radio Activities, on air and off.
